Sometimes people call our office after they’ve suffered a personal injury, and they say, “I really don’t have a whole lot of medical bills,” and the first question I ask is, “Are you hurting? Are you injured? Are you unable to do the things you used to be able to do?” It’s not all about how much your bills are. The fact of the matter is some treatments are less expensive than others, even though the injury might be more severe. Don’t judge things just on that one bill or those three or four bills. It’s not the dollar amount that counts; it’s the injury and harm that you’ve suffered.
